Andrew Epting joined the South Carolina Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Alliance in November of 2007 as the Administrative Intern. Andrew oversees the basic day to day operations at The South Carolina Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Alliance office, as well as offering support to the members and staff of the Alliance.
Andrew is currently studying history at The University of South Carolina. He has served in Student Government as the Secretary of Environmental Affairs, where he worked to promote recycling programs on campus, bike/pedestrian friendly roads, and the implementation of renewable energy sources to power university buildings. Andrew is a member of the Alternative Energy Committee at the University, which works to identify applications where alternative energy, like hydrogen, solar and biomass, can be utilized. Andrew is also the president of Palmetto Solar, a photovoltaic and solar thermal design and installation company within the USC/Columbia Technology Incubator.
